Mamma's and pappa's

"California dreaming on such a winter's day" - The mamma's and Pappa's I like this quote and I agree with it because sometime's on a winter's day I think of being somewhere different like Florida or California. Most older people who live in Maine for the summer also live in Florida or somewhere warm during the winter months. I think that when I'm old that I'm going to live in Maine most likely and then during the winter go to somewhere warm. I like warm places but I like being cold too because I sweat a lot sometimes. A lot of people say that California is where a lot of dreams come true which I don't think I agree with. Dreams can come true where ever you are in the world as long as you set your mind to it and try as hard as you can to succeed. I bet that sometimes people in Florida, California , or even any other places warm think about coming to colder places during winter to experiences snow and a white christmas and such stuff. I don't know why they would think of that but their's got to be people who think like that for no reason at all. All I can say to those people is that it's not all that it's cracked up to be and the snow isn't all that great.

snow and lottery

"Getting an inch of snow is like winning ten cents in the lottery" - Bill Watterson I agree with this quote because I love when it snows the first time. This quote is for people like the hicks at our school who love the snow because it means snowmobiling to school. Once who get an inch of snow you just want to keep on getting more and more because you're never satisfied. The lottery is the same way, people who win the little money just want to keep on playing until they hit the jackpot. This world is full of ungrateful people and I myself sometimes am don't get me wrong but people who do everything they can to get piles and piles of money just because they can isn't right. Some people in this world don't realize nor care that there are people who can't eat because they don't have the money. Some people are homeless and wear the same old and dirty clothes everyday because they can afford to get new ones. Some people probably couldn't last a day if they had to switch places with a homeless person and pretend they had no money. Some people are so materialistic.

School

"You don't have to like school to be good at it"- Mrs. Hotaling I agreee with this quote strongly because I know most of my friends hate school but they get honors and high honors. All you really have to do in school is when teachers say study this is to study it. You don't have to learn it because you take the teast over it and you usually never see it again. As I see it some people are book smart and some people have comman sense. Some people even have both and those people who have both are unique. So anyways personally I really don't like school but I think I'm pretty good at it. School use to be fun and I use to like it but something happened when I hit highschool. I think it happens to most people, once they enter highschool school doesn't seem to be as fun. It's like you stop learning new things and they just test you on things that you either already know or they give you a study sheet to study for the test. It's not as hard as some people make it out to be. All they have to do is put in a little bit of effort to pass. Most people hate to put in any effort and they fail then they complain and end up hating school.

Hairspray

"You're fat and old but baby boring you aint"- Hairspray "You're timless to me" I loved this movie. Seeing John as a women was priceless. It's made me laugh so hard. He's not the best singer but he's the best cross dresser I've ever seen. I also loved Zack he's so hot. The only thing that I don't understand about the movie is when Tracy comes to the ms. hairspray compititon and her hair is flat and different. In the beginning of the movie she was in love with her big hair and seemed like she wasn't going to change it ever. I watched the orginal movie the other day because it was on tv and I didn't like it as much as this new one. The movie makes me realy want to see the broadway musical. I love going to new york city, I'm in love with it actually, to see different musicals and shop there. I think the hairspray muscial would be amazing to watch specially the dancing portion of it. Hairspray had a good message to it too. I got sad and almost cried when Queen Latiffa sang the song when all the black people were marching to get seen on tv as equal and stuff.

"Each the other's world entire"Cormac McCarthy "The read" Okay so this quote is odd. I don't really get this quote at all. I don't knwo who Cormac McCarthy is at all. Is Cormac a boy or a girl?And what does this quote mean. Was this guy or girl disturbed or something. I think this quote means that no matter where someone is at that they will always be a part of eachother. Like they will always have a piece of their heart that belongs to another person. This is something that would be good inside a ring like a wedding ring. I think that's what this quote means and I think it's cute and I would have this engraved into my wedding rings. Maybe Cormac McCarthy said this to a girl or guy that he or she was going to miss because they were leaving and never coming back. Maybe he or she said this because he or she loved them. Maybe Cormac McCarthy was a genius of a man. Cormac McCarthy was a good guy and maybe he was just a little crazy.

I got my acceptance letter from Farmington the other day and I'm pretty excited about the whole thing. I'm still nervous for college but I'll live and manage. I applied to Farmington, orono, and UNH. I really want to go to UNH to be a physical education teacher but I don't think I'll get in. Farmington is one of the best teaching schools and since I want to minor in biology I want to go there. Plus it's cheaper there and it's not Orono. I like Orono I just don't like the fact there's so many people there that are from Sacopee. I want to be different and even though Farmington and UNH aren't that different. The funny thing about me getting accepted was that that morning i was complaining that I didn't get in anywhere yet and some people had already got into school that applied like two days before me. But oh well I got in and I'm happy. I told my family that I got in and they just looked at me with an odd look. they weren't happy for me and they weren't sad. they didn't care it seemed. But it doesn't matter what they think I guess because I got in and I'm proud of myself that I did that.

Torch

"My hands are shaking from carrying this torch for you"-Sandre Lerche. Okay so this quote is umm confusing to me. I think it means that someone is really nervous because they're carying something really important to an important person. Or this quote has to do with the olympics. At the beginning of the olympics someone runs the famous torch to someone who puts it in the big cup to light it.It means the olympics has begun. I'm kinda stuck writing more so I'm gonna jump to a different theory about this quote. I think maybe the torch isn't a torch at all. Maybe the torch is suppose to represent something different. Maybe the persons hands aren't shaking because they're nervous but maybe they're shaking because they have a drug problem which makes him figity. Maybe the person is a cocane addict, that always makes a person have problems. But I don't think that's the reason for this quote. The real reason I think is that it's for the olmpics.

species

"The female of the species is more deadly than the male" -Space I agree with this quote. Actually I think this quote is quite funny because girls are always saying when we're younger that we're better than the male species. The femal species is more deadly than the male I think. We know how to outsmart people and we betray eachother with a drop of a dime. Males on the other hand don't do any betraying because they think that they're best buds and stuff. They don't see the same things that us girls do. Females know how to so much more then men when it comes to taking down someone, like ruining their reputation. Guy's just don't get it nor do they care at all. If I was a male I would be scared of those females, specially the ones that look like they're suppose to be male instead. Females can give life and they can take it away I think. They can choose to have babies and they can choose not to have babies to help populate the world. Males can't choose to have babies or not. Males only help with the making of babies why god made men have to help is beyond me.
