I'm pretty scared for college and I don't know why. I think it's because I've been kept safe for 14 years, from preschool to 12th grade. I'm scared to be on my own and away from the comfort of my home and my friends. I'm not sure if I'm ready to graduate and be an adult. I don't want to leave my brother to go through school without my guidance. I'm scared to be on my own and not be told what I have to do and when somethings due. Even though I'm scared I''m pretty sad too. I'm sad because I wont get to be here with my younger friends that I've gained over the years at Sacopee. I'm sad because my sports career will be done with. I probably wont get to play sports at a competitive level ever again. I'll miss the rush I get when I step out onto the soccer field or the basketball court. I'm also sad that my friends wont be around me anymore. I'll be leaving my stevie, whose my best friend. She's going to like New york and I'll be staying here in Maine. I'll talk to her a lot and visit but it wont be the same without her. Who will I have to be foolish with? I'll have to make new friends and I'm shy when it come to new people. I don't even like talking to people when we order out food.

"If you can find something that everyone agrees on, it's wrong" -Mo Udall. I really don't understand this quote so I'm not sure if I agree with it or not. I think though that I agree with it because if one person says its right then other people will begin to believe that person and soon tons of people will say its right. They say it's right even if they only heard it and there's no real proof if it's right or not. People do that kind of thing all the time where they believe anything someone tells them even if it's completely wrong.

angels vs devils

"There are few angels and devils in the real world. Most of us fall somewhere in between."-Doris Roberts as Rose Fiedler in "Keeping up with the Steins". I think that Doris is correct saying this because not everyones perfect and does everything perfectly like angels do. Angels are people who help anyone no matter what they have done. Their the really good people of the world. They aren't suspose to do anything wrong at all. Devils are the complete opposite of angels, they do all the bad things in the world. They don't care what other people think of them and they don't care what they do. Most people fall in between of angels and devils because no one can be completly evil or completly good. People do things that are bad and good all the time. They might lie and then next thing they turn around and help someone out. No one can be a saint because everyone in their life time has done somthing that would upset God and not make them an angel. Also no one can be a devil because everyone has done something good in their life even if they don't know it yet.

Trouble :)

"It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so," -Mark Twain. This quote confuses me a little. I think this means that If you don't know something then you wont get into trouble but if you know something and it's important you could get into trouble. When I read this I think of the Mafia because in the mafia if you know something that you're not suppose to know then you're most likely going to be in trouble. People always get into trouble with the stuff they know. Like in highschool people talk about everyone and is one person says something to their bestfriend about someone else then that bestfriend could be in trouble because if some information got leaked out and that person finds out shes going to go the best friend to find out wat her friend told her. I think if people are telling you information that you know might get you into trouble you should leave before something really bad gets told. You can't get into trouble if you don't know anything about it.

Free write-soccer

Last night the girl's soccer team tied against a really good school. It was Fryeburg acadamy. It was 4-4. In the first half they scored 3 goals in 8 mins. We thought we were going to lose at that point. Coach was really mad at our goalie so he put me in as goalie and I've only played twice before. At half time coach yelled at us because he was so mad that we weren't winning. We all knew we could do better. So during the second half Emily Lane scored four goals in like twelve minutes. We were leading by one and the crowd was going wild. The Fryeburg boys were talking smack because they were losing as normal. In like the last two minutes of the game Fryeburg scored one more to tie it all up and I was so mad because I wanted to win. So we had to go in over time which is five minutes and we kept them scorless and they did the same to us. Since no one scored we had to go into double overtime and I was pumped to do whatever it took, but no one scored so it became a tie which is still good. I played in the whole jv game as the goalie which was pretty cool. I only let in two goals because I was dumb.

Blessed

" Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disapointed." -Jonathan Swift. I like this quote because it's so true. People who don't want to be disapointed are blessed because they never expect anything. People who expect things usually end up with heartbreak because something goes wrong and they fail. They usually get disapointed and they wonder why. Nothing ever goes the way you want it to. When I read this quote I think of Tom and Jerry because Tom is always trying to catch Jerry and he also expects that he's going to be then something always happens that he didn't think of that Jerry did. Tom never ends up catching Jerry. Maybe if Tom didn't expect he was going to catch Jerry and leave traps that were thought out a little more then maybe just maybe he would catch him. When I think of this quote I also think of myself because on birthday I expected polly pockets but what I didn't know was that my family didn't have that much money. So when my birthday party came around and I opened all my presents and there were no polly pockets I cried. I was so upset. If I didn't expect I was getting them I wouldn't have been so sad when they weren't there.

language and complaining

People complain all the time. If the world didn't complain about something our world would be corrupted. Most people are shy and don't talk unless they're complaining about something that they don't like. When people complain it brings out their true side and their true language. Without language and the use of words our world would be still informal. People always find something to complain about even if its perfect and they feel like complaining about it. I find that people complain a lot more when they are angry about something or even sad.If we didn't feel the need to complain about something people probably wouldn't talk very much because most people don't have nice things to say so they don't speak.

Devil

"So what did you think the devil would look like? If he were red with a tail, horns,and cloven hooves,any fool could say so." How to Read Literature Like a professor is a really interesting book. When I read this quote I thought of the movie Badazzled with Brenden Freshire and he meets Elizabeth Hurly, whose the devil, and she gives him a certain number of wishes. No one ever said that the devil had to be a guy, it could be a women right? When I think of someone who makes a deal with the devil I think of ghost rider. He makes a deal to keep his father alive and the devil screws him over and makes his father die a different way. So then ghost rider is stuck with the task of being ghost rider and doing jobs for the devil. When I read this quote I think of the devil as being a centaur like creature because he's half horse like and he's half human. Theres this show called charmed and its about these three witches who fight off bad guys and in one episode the devil was in it and he looked like a centaur .
