talking without thinking

"To talk without thinking is to shoot without aiming." 18th century British proverb. I actually get this quote somewhat. I think it means that people are dumb and say things without thinking what they say. They just keep rambling because they think that they will get their point across. Basically the quote is saying you wouldn't shoot something without aiming if you were trying to hit it so why do people talk so much without thinking of what they are saying. Of course I'm one of those people that sometimes talks way to much and I never think of what I'm saying or what I'm about to say. Most of the time it's when I'm really ticked off at someone or something but that doesn't happen all the time. I think that most people don't think while they talk because they're scared that if they think about it that they might actually be wrong about something or say the wrong thing that will make someone else mad and talk without thinking. They people that I think talk the most without thinking are celeberites. Oh my goodness they don't think at all. They just say whatever is on their mind at the time and it usually ends up with them making a fool of themselves.
